I´m not sure why It´s such a big deal to me, but 20 wins is something to be proud of, right? With USC´s win over Boston College, Inside The Shoe moves to 19-9. I have to say, the Pac-10 is quite a dissapointment this year so far, and with all of the chaos ensuing Urban Meyers statement, It almost seems like BCS chaos. Except with College Football itself. Thoughts?

Ian - the chaos after Urban stepping down will really begin in earnest if the coaching carousel starts spinning. Cos u know a school like UF is a dream job for many coaches in smaller schools (as it was for Urban coming from Utah). If only Charlie Strong had not left - he may have had a shot at it. And then the chaos will take momentum as the new coach will bring his staff and fire the existing staff. The least chaos scenario cud be to get Kyle Wittingham as he was Urban's assistant and runs the same system. We'll see.
ReplyDeleteYeah, it´s gonna be intresting. Wonder, though, if Brian Kelly is thinking, well if i would have known that Urban stepped down, i might´ve taken THAT job instead.
