On Championship Sunday, The Colts defeated the Jets 30-17, but the Jets, along with Nick Mangold, were able to take an early 14-3 lead. Eventually, it dissipated, but Mangold had a pretty good game, although It's hard to judge a linemen. For all I know, he looked pretty good, and always seemed ready to go, which is key in the playoffs. On the other side of the Championships, defensive end Will Smith had a monster game aganist the Minnesota Vikings, with 6 total tackles and a forced fumble. Malcom Jenkins, had another game with nothing going on for him, but will look to try and make an impact in the Super Bowl. Finally, Antoine Winfield added 6 tackles in a losing effory as the Saints prevailed in OT, 31-28.
In other news, there are rumors swirling that Jermale Hines, could be leaving. I doubt these are true, as the deadline for declaring eligble for the NFL draft was a while ago, but all the same, he has decided to drop some classes (via Twitter). Ted Ginn Jr. also was talking on twitter about how their both looking for money. Either way, I think he stays, but still, news to have been told. There is also a nice interview with Terrelle Pryor, his first of the year since the Rose Bowl, here.
