Matchup to watch: Wisconsin Offense against Ohio State Man to Man Defense
Ok so two weeks ago Ohio State fans were down in the dumps after watching the Bucks get creamed up in Madison by 22+ points. This game will however be different. First the obvious, Evan Turner is back and that changes the dramatic of this Buckeye team immensly as evidenced in his heroics wednesday night in the Buckeyes win over Purdue. With Turner in the starting linuep along w/Buford, Lighty, Lauderdale and Diebler the buckeyes are 7-1 with there only loss coming at Minnesota. With the way Turner played on wednesday and also a up and coming Buford who has scored in 10 straight double figure games, the Buckeyes are poised for a superior run here. Wisconsin on the other hand is also playing well, having picked up a victory over Penn State 54-53 but they are without there second leading scorer and top post defender in Jon Leuer. This bodes well for the Buckeyes, who will have some difficulty guarding Travon Hughes and Jason Bohannon but i cant see Wisconsin defeating Ohio State at this juncture especially with the Buckeyes needing to build off the big win over purdue and keep there chances for a conference title alive. Ohio State also has a realistic chance to win the next 8-10 games with the schedule and competition being very favorable to the Bucks. I look for Ohio State to dominate this one here...78-62 Bucks roll at home!!
