First of all, let me say Happy Valentines day, on behalf of the staff of ITS.
Since Chris is still doing his thing, I figured ITS hasn't seen basketball coverage in awhile. So I'll give it a try, but don't expect awesome stat lines thrown at you. What I do know is that this is an important game for the Buckeyes as they are in a three way tie for the Big Ten. The teams that are tied are Illinois, Michigan State, and Ohio State. After this game, we get Purdue, so we have a chance to give ourselves a cushion in case of any upsets. The problem is, these are a couple of really good teams. Evan Turner will have to play hard, and get the nessecerray points to keep tOSU in this game. I think a big part in this game will have to come from Ohio State's bench. The Villian also needs his supporting cast, i.e. Lighty, Lauderdale, and Buford, to step up and score many points as well. Illinois has a hot streak going winning a couple of straight games, and they won't be looking to stop here. This game is being played IN Champaign, so it's going to be even harder to pull out a win. In other news, the Cavaliers, (man, I'm on a roll today with BB news..) are rumored close to getting a deal with the Sun's Amare Stoudimire. This would give JJ Hickson and Zyndruas Illgaskus away to the Suns. Overall, I think it's a great deal that will only improve the Cav's team, and help LeBron's supporting cast. On more basketball, and I'm closing with this, the Slam Dunk contest sucked. There were only 2-3 quality dunks, and much of the Twittering world tends to agree with me. Nate Robinsion won for a 3rd straight time, giving him the streak record. Congrats to him, as he finished with an impressive dunk.
