Kenny Guiton and Joe Bauserman are still fighting for the right to back Terrelle Pryor up, and Guiton is making huge strides after being here only 1 year. Ohio State's QB coach, Nick Sillicano said if Pryor were to go down in a game and Bauserman were to take over, nothing should be feared. That surprises me a little, but it shows Bauserman is doing work.
Jeff Seemann, from the BBC, had this to say on his Fox Sports Ohio blog:
TE Jake Stoneburner is lining up in the slot wide-out position and is getting more than a few balls thrown his way. Stoneburner has the tools and the desire to be the best TE this team has seen in a while, and it looks like the coaches plan to use him well.
This is good news, but I'll believe we use him when I see it, and that's that.
Next, Duron Carter is still not present at practice, but Carter's dad seems to be making the appearances for him. Although, Duron does have time to get free Chipotle. Johnathan Newsome, on the other hand, was present today, hoping to start his turn-around
Terrelle Pryor had to face the media today, and here are some interesting tidbits from that for your pleasure.
-Pryor had brace on scoped left knee as precaution- "It feels 100 percent. I'm faster than I think I've ever been"
