ITS's Top 25 Week 7

So, it's coming a little late, but better late then never right? South Carolina dropped Alabama like a sack of potatoes, Oregon does what they do, and Ohio State proved they do have a good pocket passer when they want to, just one they like to use to run.

#1 Ohio State (2) - With a good win over Indiana, the Buckeyes take over the top spot on our polls.

#2 Oregon (3) - Started off slow, but went right back to normal Ducks play in the second half against WSU, beating them 43-23.

#3 Nebraska (4) - Earning a 2nd place vote from one of our writers, the Cornhuskers cruised by undefeated KSU, 48-13. Taylor Martinez gets better, and faster, every game.

#4 Boise State (6) - Jumping over Oklahoma to regain the #4 spot, the Broncos love them some cruise control. 57-14, against Toledo, has them undefeated still.

#5 Oklahoma (-) - BYE

#6 TCU (7) - TCU says thanks to Bama as they are 1 spot away from a Top 5 position. 45-0 over Wyoming.

#7 Auburn (9) - Beating a tough Kentucky team on the road is no easy task. The Tigers kicked a last second field goal to stay unbeaten, and the Wildcats fell to 3-3.

#8 LSU (10) - A last second touchdown over Florida's head in the Swamp is an impressive performance. The Mad Hatter called the old toss over the head on a FG try to get a critical first down, giving the Tigers a chance to win the game.

#9 South Carolina (19) - Jumping 10 spots, the Gamecocks without a doubt deserve it. An upset win that looked almost easy, South Carolina beat Alabama 35-21. Their only loss came to Auburn, a Top 10 team that's undefeated. Don't count USC out just yet.

#10 Michigan State (17) - Leaping up 7 positions, the Spartans are right on with the Buckeyes in undefeated in Big Ten, and overall. They don't play this year, so we could see a Big Ten conference championship split. MSU beat the tar out of Denard Robinson, exposing his weaknesses. Mark Dantonio has his squad ready for anything now.

#11 Alabama (1) - After looking shaken at the start of the game, the second half started off well for the Tide. Eventually, though, they would lose. The AP gave them a chance at a National Championship anyway, only dropping them to #8. Even at #11, Alabama still has a chance.

#12 Arkansas (-) - On the road at Texas A&M, the Razorbacks continue to impress me. Ryan Mallet led his team to a 24-17 victory, and they have serious hopes for a BCS Bowl game.

#13 Utah (11) - A 68-27 blowout against Iowa State doesn't hurt the Utes. The reason they dropped was to make room for Bama and co. This team will move up if they keep winning, no doubt about it.

#14 Iowa (-) - BYE

#15 Stanford (-) - Bouncing back from a loss to Oregon, Andrew Luck and the Cardinals sneak by USC 37-35, keeping their hopes alive for a BCS bowl game.

#16 Wisconsin (20) - Easily beating Minnesota 41-23, the Badgers will welcome the Buckeyes into Camp Randall this week, in what will be 1 of 3 showdowns that may still decide the Big Ten Champion. Michigan State only plays Iowa out of the "Big Three" and that's two weeks from now.

#17 Florida State (24) - An impressive win over Miami moves the 'Noles all the way up to #17, trying to get back in that bowl picture.

#18 Arizona (8) - Losing to Oregon State after a close game last week, shows this team might not have been ready for the BCS. They would have to run the table from here to get some recognition.

#19 Oklahoma State (23) - The Cowboys are still undefeated after destroying LA-Lafayette, 54-28. This team is better than what people think, and they are starting to take some notice.

#20 Missouri (22) - An easy 26-0 win over Colorado has the Tigers 5-0 and threatening in the Big 12.

#21 Nevada (-) - A 35-13 win over San Jose State was good, but I have to wonder what would happen if they played a ranked team. We'll get to find out later in the year when they take on Boise State in Nevada!

#22 Florida (16) - The second straight loss for the Gators have people wondering what happened to our team. They have good athletes, and I'm starting to think it might be the quarterback.

#23 Air Force (NR) - Finally back in the Top 25 after beating Colorado State 49-27, I think Air Force is really good, but we will get to see how good the next 2-3 weekends when they take on TCU and Utah, both ranked highly on our poll.

#24 NC State (NR) - 44-17 win over Boston College has the Wolfpack at 5-1 this year, and only making more waves. Their only loss came to Virgina Tech in a close game.

#25 West Virgina (NR) - Beat an undefeated UNLV, however impressive that is. Either way, the Mountaineers still have Noel Devine and a 5-1 record overall.
