Last week, we were having trouble getting the Top 25 post up, so I apologize for that, Blogger tends to screw us over from time to time. I have the rankings, they just weren't posted, so I'll still have the teams rising from where they were and falling from where they were.
#2 Auburn (-) - It was Chattanooga. Calm yourselves SEC.
#3 LSU (11) - It took a 4th down, but so did pretty much every other win, as the cardiac cats continued to win games, this time against Alabama. Yeah, Alabama.
#4 TCU (-) - A fantastic win over Utah would normally make them go up a spot, but LSU beat Alabama!
#5 Boise State (-) - Wow, Boise came this close to dropping out of the Top 5. They really play no one. Nevada has the best shot, and they'll probably get blown out 35-3.
#6 Wisconsin (-) - This whole Top 10 is just a big cluster of teams that could be in the championship game. I said could, calm down Madison.
#7 Ohio State (-) - BYE
#8 Nebraska (6) - A 1 point win over Iowa State isn't going to cut it for a Top 5 team.
#9 Stanford (11) - Beat the tar out of one of the better opponents they will face, 42-17. Arizona never stood a chance.
#10 Michigan State (15) - 3 Big Ten teams back in the Top Ten for awhile, it seems. Ohio State, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Michigan State are all vying for the Rose Bowl. Many think Ohio State will jump Wisconsin, but I can't be too certain of that.
#11 Oklahoma State (18) - An uprising Baylor team had been beaten twice before, but not like Heisman candidate Justin Blackmon and the Cowboys gave them.
#12 Alabama (4) - I was shocked with the Rolling Tide's 24-21 loss to LSU. Really, they lost to one of the worst offenses I've seen personally. I'll give the Tigers that they have a tough defense.
#13 Iowa (14) - The Hawkeyes had a tough time at Indiana, coming away with 18-13 win over the Hooisers. I think this could spell some things for this weekend against Wisconsin, though.
#14 Arkansas (17) - A very convincing win over South Carolina 41-20, gives Arkansas a chance to get in a BCS bowl. Win out, isn't impossible, but it won't be easy.
#15 Oklahoma (10) - Texas A&M is just an on-off team. Unfortunately for Oklahoma, they were on that night, plus had a home crowd on their back.
#16 Utah (8) - Blown out by TCU, and they were even at home. Not impressed at all, as the Horned Frogs proved that the Utes were overrated.
#17 Virginia Tech (24) - Huge win over Georgia Tech in a ACC match-up that has decided the ACC Champion the past couple of years show all signs pointing up for the Hokies.
#18 Mississippi State (23) - BYE
#19 Texas A&M (NR) - Upset Oklahoma, and now looks to make a final run down the stretch.
#20 Florida (NR) - Were going to give Florida one more shot, and it's only because they have a shot to win the SEC East.
#21 Nevada (23) - That showdown with Boise State in Nevada is most certainly the Bronco's last test. The Wolfpack are no slouch, so hopefully they won't disappoint.
#22 Arizona (12) - Huge loss to Stanford really knocks Arizona off course, wondering where they will be headed come bowl season.
#23 Missouri (16) - The Tigers got shown up once more, this time by a Texas Tech team dying to become bowl eligible. Not sure where Missouri stands as far as bowls.
#24 South Carolina (19) - Clinging on to a Top 25 spot, South Carolina has their 3rd loss of the season, and will look to start upsetting some other team's chances.
#25 Kansas State (NR) - Tore Texas's bowl eligibility chances spiraling down, as they crushed them 39-14. Texas now stands at 4-5.
