| Pryor has seen glory, but now must face a suspension |
To go along with this, it seems the feared news that the appeal wouldn't go through, may just end up happening.
"Here's some bad news for anyone who is hopeful that five Ohio State football players will get their five-game NCAA suspensions reduced on appeal:
Based on recent precedent, and given the criticism the NCAA has received recently for several of its decisions, a reduction is far from a given, and may be termed unlikely."The article goes on to say that because of former situations like this (think along the lines of the A.J. Green incident) that it would be highly unlikely for these players to have a reduced suspension. OSU fans are well informed that the Tat Five will be missing two very important games: At Miami and at home against Michigan State.
Ohio State is one of the better schools at providing good, solid, NFL players. This year, for the Senior Bowl, Ross Homan, the only Buckeye selection, will try and get a leg up on the draft by competing for the North team. That team also is coached by Marvin Lewis, head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals. If Lewis likes what he sees, maybe he can put in a good word for Homan. Three other Ohio State seniors were already committed to the East-West Shrine Game on Jan. 22: linebacker Brian Rolle, offensive lineman Bryant Browning and safety Jermale Hines.

| Buckeye fans might warm to Price's style of play |
Buckeye fans aren't too excited about this one, simply because there is still a legitimate chance that Ohio State could land Curtis Grant and James Vaughters. I think it's good to try and pick this kid up in case one of the two mentioned don't come through for OSU. Vaughters is already committed to Stanford, but he does have a visit to Ohio State on Jan. 28th. It will be interesting to see how that one plays out. It's happened before, and Price is a very good LB to "fall" on.
