Is James Louis Going To Transfer?

On his way out?
According to 247 Sports, James Louis might be headed out of Ohio State and headed to another school. Athlete is the perfect description for Louis. Louis has very good feet, he has great acceleration, and he is only going to get bigger and stronger in the coming years. He has a nice frame to add weight while maintaining his speed in college. He gets a lot of yards after the catch in high school and should do the same in college. Needs work on his hips getting in and out of his routes and really just his overall route running. He could be a fantastic addition to the team, especially with the amount of space on the depth chart for that certain spot.

With DeVier Posey out, and Philly Brown having the most experience (which isn't a lot) this is a very raw group, with a lot of talent. We need all the help we can get, and if Louis really does transfer, Luke Fickell will have to sort out how to deal with this type of loss. Eleven Warriors thinks this might be a good time to let Stoneburner out wide, and gives a great chance for Devin Smith to get a shot at the WR spot. While it's possible, I really think we need to try and keep Louis. From what I've seen, he's got pretty good talent, and he's only a freshman.

With these reports, James Louis has surprisingly responded. The response was also surprising. That was in reaction to a Twitter user saying "James Louis is transferring?". Now, more Twitter action seems as if the reports may be jumping the gun a bit.

The good news is that nothing has happened yet, and James Louis has "denied" the reports of him leaving Ohio State. People have been saying that they wouldn't be surprised to see him leave, with where he is at on the depth chart, and rumors are because he can't catch the football. I truly think this is a little bit of exaggeration, because no college athlete can make it to a big school like Ohio State and not be able to catch the football. I wish Louis the best of luck on this year in football, because I think he will stay.
