ITS's BlogPoll Ballot: Week 10

I can't believe it's already Week 10, and the season has been going this fast. The past weekend was just crazy, and not just for Ohio State. Unbeatens fell, Stanford barely edged USC, and conferences got all wacky with only 4 or 5 regular season weeks left to be played. We are nearing the end, but the puzzle has not been solved. Some hints as to who might be in the Championship game might be figured out this weekend with key match ups like LSU vs. Alabama, Kansas State vs. Oklahoma State, and South Carolina vs. Arkansas. Let's take a look at the rankings this week, and see who rose and fell in Week 9 games.

LSU Tigers - The Tigers got a BYE before the big game against Alabama. They're going to need everything they've got. Up Next: #2 Alabama--
Alabama Crimson Tide - The Crimson Tide shared the BYE week with LSU, but now it's time for this year's Game of the Century. Up Next: #1 LSU--
Oklahoma St. Cowboys - The Cowboys keep rolling, but still need a signature win. That opportunity comes these next couple of weeks. Up Next: #15 Kansas StateArrow_up 1
Stanford Cardinal - Andrew Luck was great against USC in a triple overtime win, but this is the same squad that almost lost to Utah, who isn't even bowl eligible. The match up with Oregon will be the true test. Up Next: Oregon StateArrow_down -1
Boise St. Broncos - The Broncos continue to lay low, biding their time trying to get themselves into the National Championship hunt. They got off with a BYE, but will continue to eat cupcakes this week. Up Next: UNLVArrow_up 1
Oregon Ducks - Oregon actually had some trouble with the Cougars, at least until DeAnthony Thomas got rolling. Darron Thomas and LMJ aren't impressing, though. Up Next: WashingtonArrow_up 1
Nebraska Cornhuskers - The Cornhuskers pulled up a huge win against conference foe Michigan State, winning handily 24-3. Up Next: NorthwesternArrow_up 4
Arkansas Razorbacks - The Razorbacks didn't play well against Vanderbilt, just barely winning thanks to a missed field goal, but thanks to some drops by high ranking teams, they are able to rise. Up Next: #11 South CarolinaArrow_up 2
Oklahoma Sooners - The Sooners re-enter the Top 10 after 1 week of absence. You can thank a shelling of Kansas State for that. Up Next: Texas A&MArrow_up 5
Virginia Tech Hokies - Virginia Tech somehow is able to rise 2 spots after just slipping by Duke. This is college football, not basketball remember. Up Next: BYEArrow_up 2
South Carolina Gamecocks - A 14-3 win gives South Carolina more spots closer to the Top 10, without any sort of offensive production. How long will they be able to keep it up? Up Next: #8 ArkansasArrow_up 2
Clemson Tigers - Tajh Boyd is human, and the Clemson Tigers suffered their first loss of the season to the same team that's been a thorn in their side since the beginning of time. Georgia Tech. Up Next: BYEArrow_down -7
Houston Cougars - The Cougars are rising, after amassing 73 points on a hapless Rice team. They aren't playing quality opponents, but they are one of the few undefeateds left in the country. Up Next: UABArrow_up 3
Penn St. Nittany Lions - The Nittany Lions defense man handled Illinois, but the offense is still a big question mark for Penn State. Congratulations to Joe Pa for passing Eddie Robinson for most Division 1 wins. Up Next: BYEArrow_up 3
Kansas St. Wildcats - A tough blowout loss to Oklahoma is heart breaking for this Wildcats team. Let's see if they can turn it around against OK. State. Up Next: #3 Oklahoma StateArrow_down -7
Michigan Wolverines - Denard Robinson was pretty quiet in Michigan's win over the Boilermakers Saturday, but the Wolverines control their own destiny for the B1G conference championship game. Up Next: IowaArrow_up 2
Michigan St. Spartans - Kirk Cousins was ineffective, and the defense allowed 24 points, without getting very many big plays. Not good for Sparty and their chances to go to Indy. Up Next: MinnesotaArrow_down -8
Cincinnati Bearcats - Cincy had a BYE and rose 1 spot, so they have to be happy with that. The game between West Virginia may decide the Big East champion. Up Next: PittsburghArrow_up 1
Georgia Bulldogs - Mark Richt got a much needed win over nemesis Florida, and the Bulldogs have really started to turn things around, but need to keep the momentum up to rise farther. Up Next: New Mexico StateArrow_up 2
Southern Miss. Golden Eagles - A solid 31-19 win over UTEP lets the Golden Eagles rise once more in the rankings, sitting at 7-1. Up Next: East CarolinaArrow_up 2
Arizona St. Sun Devils - Osweiler and Arizona State rolled over Colorado with ease, and will now have to face some tougher teams. Up Next: UCLAArrow_up 3
Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets - The Yellow Jackets not only upset Clemson, but just about could not be stopped. Up Next: BYE--
Wisconsin Badgers - The Badgers fell for a second straight week, this time to Ohio State. The irony? Both came on Hail Marys. Up Next: PurdueArrow_down -8
Auburn Tigers - The Tigers rolled to an easy 49-21 victory over Ole Miss, but can they continue to win out with a tough schedule remaining? Up Next: BYE--
Ohio St. Buckeyes - The Buckeyes have re-entered the ITS BlogPoll, and I do believe they've turned the corner. OSU can win out, and find themselves sitting pretty in Indy. Up Next: Indiana--
