This time around, William Buford is a hero with his last second 2-pointer for a win over Michigan State and a share of the Big Ten title. The only bad news? We're sharing it with Michigan State and That Team Up North. A championship is a championship, though, so you won't hear me griping. Let's get on with today's Bits.
The B1G Tournament Games Set. The Big Ten Tournament is set, with all the remaining teams finishing their regular seasons as of yesterday. This is the beginning of March Madness, so you know it doesn't get much better than this. Iowa and Illinois kick things off on Thursday afternoon at 11:30 AM. From there, Ohio State will play on Friday of this week against the winner of Purdue-Nebraska.
Buckeyes Sitting Pretty In '13. Since Urban Meyer has become head coach of Ohio State, fans have got to experience what recruiting is really all about. Nothing against Tressel, but the Meyer's recruiting is literally on a whole different level. While Tressel may have had 1-2 recruits in this class already, Urban has locked up 5 commitments, with none being less than a 4-star. Because of this, Ohio State is currently ranked 8th in the country in recruiting, according to 247Sports.
New Kids On The Block. No, don't worry, it's not those guys. The Silver Bullet has done a great job for years covering Ohio State athletics, particularly in recruiting. Just recently, TSB conducted 2 interviews with 2 2012 commitments, quarterback Cardale Jones and wide receiver/punter Frank Epitropoulos.
From Cardale's interview:
2. What is the difference between Tom Herman and Jim Bollman?
CJ: I never got to play for Bols so I never got to know him. I am getting to know Tom and one thing is for sure, we will pass the ball a lot more.
From Frank's interview:
3. You are a punter as well as a receiver, has Urban and the coaching staff talked to you about being a punter?
FE: Very briefly but they have mainly emphasized wide receiver, but if I am one of the best punters on the team, I can help them there too, but my focus is on receiver. I do not have the frame to be a TE so receiver will be my focus.

They both sound intelligent and very well-spoken. Great job by TSB to land these interviews. Be sure to read the rest of those articles over there!
That's all we got for you today Buckeye fans. Enjoy your day as you get set for March Madness!
