National CFB Games This Weekend.

Even though were starting Inside The Shoe a little late, it seems like all of the college football weeks have gone past in a giganatic flash. Although there are other sports going on, (see WS, NBA) there is nothing quite like a saturday full of great games. College basketball will start soon, and the Buckeyes are ranked 17th. So now we shall see what they can do. Anyway, back to the national games. It's week 9 and this is where the long stretch to bowl season begins. Since Inside The Shoe started today, I'm 0-0 as of picking games. So, let's begin.

Friday

#22 West Virgina at #25 South Florida 8:00 PM- ESPN2
This match-up comes after WVU won a Big East battle against UConn. They head to South Florida, as USF is trying to get the team on all four rollers and try to get a Gator Bowl appearance. Although WVU is favored to win by 3 on the road, I'm going to say that they don't have much trouble. WVU wins 31-21.

Saturday

#2 Florida vs. Georgia 3:30 PM- CBS
Georgia comes into the Swamp still looking for a proven offense. The ironic thing is, so is Florida. Tim Tebow has struggled this season, although it might just be the players around him. The Dawgs have to put up an outstanding defense to keep this one within striking distance, but i don't see it happening as the Gators, 16 point favorites, win this one 28-14

#3 Texas at #15 Oklahoma State 8:00 PM- ABC (Regional)
Texas goes to Stillwater, with a habit of going on the road and escaping unscathed in potiental upset games. Colt Mccoy started the season with not so great stats, but is now looking more like a top 3 Heisman candidate. He will be facing Zac Robinson, who i believe does not get a lot of credit for his work. I would give OK St. the upset, but they are without the threat of Dez Bryant, so look for Texas to win a cloer than expected win, 35-27

#7 USC at #11 Oregon  8:00 PM – ABC (Regional)
The game of the weekend is in Autzen Stadium, which is known for it's rowdiness, may mean that the Oregon Ducks will upset USC. After a terrible loss to Boise St., Oregon has played well, and consistent. USC comes off of a close victory aganist Oregon St. in which they gave up close to 500 total yards. If the Ducks play like they have, and Barkley makes his first rookie mistake game, then national title hopes are in their future, if not, a nice Rose Bowl is always fulfilling. Oregon wins 21-17.

So there is your plate full of great CFB games. Dig in tommorow at 8!
