It has been almost confirmed that the University of Pitt will, in fact, NOT be joining the Big Ten. At least, not yet. The Big Ten commitee shot down the rumors of Pitt joining by announcing that they are standing by their 12-18 month plan to sit around and relax, while college football fans are running around screaming names such as "Missouri! Notre Dame!! Cincy! Pitt!". I am really not to surprised, but have to say, dissapointed. I would have loved to see a quick, painless move for a team to join us. After all, what college football, or in this case, Big Ten fan wouldn't? Can it even be that simple? No, to put it simply. It can't. So, we will have to wait and see what will happen next. Expect to see some more rumors floating around, like the Big Ten is slow, or something.
