Northwestern vs. Central Michigan: Central Michigan had recently hung 52 on the EMU Eagles. Mike Kafka's season completion percentage dropped to 77% and Northwestern beat the Chippewas 30-25. Has anyone noticed that Northwestern is undefeated? I know they haven't faced off against any traditional powers, but it's still an accomplishment for the Wildcats. Up Next: Minnesota
Michigan State vs. Northern Colorado: The Spartans were without coach Mike Dantonio but it didn't seem to matter as they handled business to the tune of 45-17. MSU went up early, scoring 35 points in the first half and coasted to victory. Up Next: Wisconsin
Michigan vs. Bowling Green: Even thought Michigan went up 21-0 in the 1st quarter this game seemed close. It probably had a lot to do with tackling fail. BGSU was able to rip off a couple of big plays, but in the end it wasn't enough to defeat the Fightin' Velcros. Tate Forcier made an appearance, and wore some weird looking hat under his helmet. Up Next: Indiana, which could be a shoot out since neither team likes to play/can play defense.
Iowa vs. Ball State: Another week 4 beat down, although not by the same ridiculous margins we saw in other games. Stanzi threw for 288 yards and three touchdowns all while managing not to throw a single interception. James Vandenberg also got involved throwing a Garbage time TD. Up Next: Penn State.
Penn State vs. Temple: This game was ugly. Temple out played the Nitts and still managed to lose to PSU. Temple running back Bernard Pierce left the game with an apparent ankle injury and it was all down hill from there for the Owls. Penn State went on to win 22-13. What boggles my mind about Penn State is how bad their defense looks. I mean, the look slow. Up Next: @Iowa.
Minnesota vs. Northern Illinois: UGGHHHHHHHHHH Minnesota is bad. I knew they'd be bad, but this bad? I wonder if Tim Brewster wants me to save my boxes from when I move in two weeks. He's going to need them. Up Next: Northwestern.
Who has two fingers up and is going to get fired soon?
